• Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

The pharmacy intern, under the supervision of a preceptor pharmacist, will assist in the technical and clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications

Job Requirements :

• High School graduate or GED.

• Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Active Registered Pharmacy Intern in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.

• IV Certification or training, based on state requirements.

• Current BLS.
