Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced sit-down forklift operator to join our team at a raisin packing facility in Madera. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload pallets of raisins and other materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Transport pallets of raisins and packaging materials
- Assist with inventory management and organization
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification (preferred)
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to and from the Madera facility
