**Job Title: Courier** **Job Description** As a Courier, you will perform pickups and deliveries within the city and surrounding areas. Your role will involve collecting incoming products and materials and delivering outgoing items at designated times. You will be responsible for transporting products and materials to specified locations, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, verifying quantities of received goods, and forwarding related paperwork to the appropriate department. **Responsibilities** + Perform pickups and deliveries within the city and surrounding areas. + Collect incoming products and materials and deliver outgoing items at designated times. + Transport products and materials to specified locations. + Assist with loading and unloading trucks. + Verify quantities of received goods. + Forward related paperwork to the appropriate department. **Essential Skills** + 4-5 years experience as a courier. + 4-5 years experience working in customer service. + Experience using computers and sending emails. + Proficiency in logistics and order management. + Experience with box trucks and CDL. + Proficiency in invoice processing and transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required at the time of hire and must be maintained. + Familiarity with the Charleston area is essential. + Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with hospital personnel. + Previous experience as a courier or in delivery roles is preferred. + Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. + Demonstrated ability to handle recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories, and quality control checks. + Proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems such as Outlook. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great benefits and the use of a company vehicle. Shift times are from 11am-9pm Monday to Friday, and 11pm-7am Monday to Friday & 7pm-7am Sunday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
