Job Description
Our Healthcare Insurance Client is hiring a Backend NodeJS Developer for a 1 year contract with the option for extensions or renewal. This is a remote work from home position that works EST hours. This organization works on the secure member portal for a large healthcare insurance company. The ideal candidate has the following skillset:
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Node.Js and related frameworks building web service back ends
3+ years of experience defining, implementing, and testing web service APIs
Experience implementing services tailored to a variety of consumers (Web, Native mobile, service to service) using the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) approach
Experience working with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline such as Circle CI and Harness?
Experience working with Docker and cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS and/or GCP)
Experience working with GitHub
An open mind about different solutions and a willingness to propose and/or discuss alternatives
Experience with event driven architecture and frameworks to support them such as Kafka
